Availability that knows the calendar

Free again the day it's back.

Every booking holds a unit for a window, not forever. Ask what's available for your dates and the answer only counts the rentals that overlap them — so an item out this week is yours to promise the moment it returns.

What that gets you

Rentals that price and settle themselves.

Six days, charged as a week.

Set a day rate and a week rate; every window is billed the cheapest way to cover it. When a week beats six days, that's the price the customer gets.

Day × 6$90
Week × 1$75
Rental price$75

Deposit held, given back minus damage.

Take a refundable deposit when goods go out. On return, record the condition and any damage — the deposit comes back net of what you charge, never as revenue you didn't earn.

Security deposit$500
Damage charge−$80

Late back? The charge is already running.

Any unit still out past its return date is flagged overdue, and a per-day fee accrues against the rental on its own — waiting on your invoice, not on you remembering to add it.

FAQ

Rental management software, answered.

How is this different from just adding rentals to a sales tool?+

A sale hands the goods over for good; a rental hands them over for a window and expects them back. So availability has to know the calendar: the same camera can be out this week and free next week. Rental books against dated windows and only counts the bookings that overlap the dates you are quoting — so you promise what is actually free on those days, not a flat in-stock count.

Does it handle deposits and late returns?+

Yes. Hold a refundable security deposit per unit while goods are out, and give it back on return minus any damage or loss you record. If an item comes back late, overdue charges accrue against the rental automatically, day by day, until it is returned.

How does duration pricing work?+

Price each product by the period — a day rate, a week rate, a month rate — and every quote is charged the cheapest combination that covers the rental window. A six-day hire is billed as one week when the weekly rate beats six daily ones, so nobody is overcharged and nothing is left on the table.

Can I self-host it?+

Yes — the Free edition runs on your own server, free, with your whole team on it. Prefer not to run servers? We host a managed cloud. Same product either way.

What happens to my data?+

It stays yours. Export it whenever you like, and the Free edition is free to self-host — so switching a tool never means switching vendors.
